The Vulcan drywall hammer face is designed to set nail in a Ideal dimple and won't bruise drywall or break the paper. It's forged, heat treated steel head for long-life with no peeling or flaking. The lacquered 7 1/2 in handle is moisture -resistant with a 12 oz head. Our Drywall Hammers come in three brands - MARSHALLTOWN, WAL-BOARD tools and QLT. All feature a wedge-shaped steel blade with a notch for nail pulling and drywall scoring. The head has a checkered design used to properly drive nails and dimple drywall. The MARSHALLTOWN drywall hammer has is equipped with a hickory handle. The QLT drywall hammer has a smooth wood handle for comfort. The WAL-BOARD tools Drywall Hammers come with a genuine hardwood handle for maximum durability. The drywall hammer has a bonded and molded Shock Reduction Grip?, which offers the utmost in both comfort and durability while reducing vibrations caused by impact. The head and handle are forged in one-piece and are fully polished. The round face makes for easy nail driving and the blade will score drywall.
