The MARSHALLTOWN and contractor-grade QLT foam floats and MARSHALLTOWN sponge floats wear well and do an excellent job on any sand surface. They have a plastic foam pad specially bonded to an aluminum backing plate. The foam float pads are 3/4 in THK whereas the Sponge float pads are 1-1/8 in THK. You can choose between size and coarseness.
